Joy Division – Ian Curtis poster design

Gabriela — Mon, 06 Jul 2026 04:06:23 +0000

Inspired in the iconic post-punk band Joy Division, including a black and white image of Ian Curtis. The portrait is fragmented by horizontal white slashes that cut across the frame, creating a sense of dislocation (like its music). The band’s name is repeated in massive, stacked sans serif typography. Finally the quote: “Existence is well, what does it matter?”.

Colors: black, white, grey.
Typeface style: serif (top band name), bold extended sans-serif (right side band name), small serif (quote and dates).
Suitable for: album covers, music posters, t-shirt designs, hoodies, tote bags, art prints, and stickers.

Bigben gradient background british text design

Gabriela — Thu, 18 Sep 2025 18:09:55 +0000

This design is a conceptual and modern composition with a photographic and editorial feel. The central piece is a photograph of London’s Big Ben clock tower, treated with a vibrant color gradient and digital noise effect that gives it a grainy, nostalgic texture. The color palette of the gradient includes shades of red, orange, yellow, pink, purple, and blue. The main typography, which reads “BRITISH PRIDE BIG BEN,” is a very thick and clean sans-serif font that is superimposed over the image. At the bottom of the image, there is a smaller text that says “ELIZABETH TOWER (SINCE 2012),” while on the bottom left, there is a descriptive paragraph in a thin typeface. The composition creates a visual contrast between the classic image and the bold, modern design, representing the essence of a timeless city with a contemporary touch.
